(1) Autograph letter signed from Sterling to Mr. Braithwaite. Concerns writing on Shakespeare for Braithwaite's symposium. His is sending three autographed books he had published last winter to the recipient. On letterhead from the Bohemian Club, San Francisco, dated March 23, 1916. (2) A typescript poem entitled "Shakespeare," signed by George Sterling. The poem includes a quotation from Troilus and Cressida. Published in a collection of Sterling's poems, The caged eagle. First line: There burst a mighty morning on the world. Undated.
